The
Derwent valley around Hathersage is a mixture of meadows, wooded
valleys and rolling hills, backed by open moorland. Beyond are
the gritstone outcrops where discarded and surplus millstones
have become part of the scenery. To the north are some of the
National Park's most beautifully landscaped reservoirs,Ladybower,
Derwent and Howden. |
