- GRENDON was built in 1913 to
exacting standards of the day, the 1 acre gardens overlook the
Cavendish golf course with distant views to the Peak District
hills.
- It is essentially a family
home which your hosts, Colin and Hilary Parker are privileged
to share with you,we place great emphasis on guest care and comfort
in a welcoming environment.

- Our lovely ensuite double bedrooms
are very spacious, have comfortable armchairs or settee, large
uncluttered windows through which to enjoy natural light and
rural views.
- The Cavendish room can also
be a twin option, but is a hot favourite as a double for its
glorious views and supremely comfortable bed! The Duchess and
Devonshire rooms have Queen size beds, all with cloud like duvets
for warmth without weight.

- We also have a single room,
with ensuite wc, and private use of a bathroom equipped with
bath and power shower. This room receives many positive comments
for its tranquillity and glorious views!

- All bedrooms have sufficient
radiators for a cosy stay, fitted carpets, tea/coffee making
facilities, TV's, hairdryers, bedroom" browsers" to
help plan your excursions, books and magazines, fresh flowers
and much more!

- An "in house" laundry
service is available for those who wish, and iron and ironing
board for those who need it!

- The bright and spacious breakfast
room is equipped with attractively presented individual tables,
a mouth watering cold side table awaits your selection and you
can make a daily hot choice from our extensive menu, as well
as the traditional full English breakfast, pancakes with bacon
and maple syrup boiled eggs with soldiers, scrambled egg with
smoked salmon, and omelettes also feature.
Evening meals
- Evening meals may be requested,
our roast dinners, meat pies, stuffed chicken breasts and baked
salmon receive many compliments.

- The guest lounge enjoys a beautiful
outlook to the garden, and winter visitors enjoy the real log
fire.
- There is access to the balcony,
where we serve teas and drinks in the summer, there are books
and games to entertain!
